I ran out to the club this past Saturday…..wow, we had a good bunch taking advantage of the beautiful day.  We are fortunate to have a very nice place to shoot. Now that the weather is trying to cooperate we should have some pretty lively weekends. 

Tuesday 4/6 open practice on the hill. Skeet and trap ranges open by 3p 
Thursday 4/8 Team ETSS practice 5p
Friday 4/9 Arts old Codgers will be on the hill shooting trap and skeet . Ranges open by 9a and run till mid day.
Saturday 4/10 Wilderness Road will host the trophy shoot. Sign up from 8a til 10a . A meal will be provided
Sunday 4/11 5 stand . Range open by 12p and will run till shooters stop coming or 5p which ever comes first!! Bring lots of shells and get on a squad. 
Monday 4/12 ATA big 50 sign ups start at 5p shoot starts at 6p

Range Duty Saturday 4/10  Kregg Klingman 9-5 Sunday 4/11 Bill Snapp 1-5

If you dont have keys and would like  to take advantage of this benefit offered here at Cherokee. It is very simple to get your own key to all of the trap and skeet fields….

• Be trained on the machines (any one that has a key can do this for you)
• Contact Joe Trujillo @ 423.722.6114. If Joe isn’t available Carrie can help you as well.
• Work 8hrs to keep the range open on the weekend. This can be done as an all day Saturday or two half day Sundays. 4) 
• $5 key fee 

Also when you see someone has range duty….go shoot. It makes the day go fast for the person on duty that day.
