We have a lot of opportunities to break targets this week. Five Stand was as always a lot of fun this past Saturday. Turn out was a little light , but I think we shot 14 squads. Rodney and Bobby set up and ran the day.

Tuesday 4/30 Open Practice …we will shoot trap and skeet. Ranges open by 4:30 p and we will shoot till everyone’s had enough. Remember the upper trap field is going through some upgrades, hopefully the guy will be there today pouring concrete for the handicap lanes. This should be a very temporary inconvenience  then we will be back to normal. If they are there working please be considerate. We will open the lower trap for the guys that want to play the Devil’s game.

Thursday 5/2 Youth Practice starts at 5p on the hill. The kids had a warmup trap shoot at Hog Heaven this past Saturday. They did very well and represented Cherokee in a great way.

Cherokee monthly meeting will start at 7p (most folks show up at 6:30) If you want to know what all goes on at Cherokee , come on out. Each program head will give a report on their activities and tell what they have coming up. A meal is available.

Friday 5/3  Arts Old Codgers will be on the hill bright and early.  They start by 9a and shoot till their nap time around mid day. If your off on Friday come on out and get involved.

Saturday 5/4 Kettlefoot will host the monthly trophy shoot . Sign ups start at 9a. A meal will be served.

Cherokee will have their annual Ladies Day Shoot this Saturday.

I want to thank everyone for making Cherokee one of the friendliest and most welcoming  gun clubs in the area. This is a wonderful reputation to have. Hope to see everyone around the range.
