CHEROKEE ROD AND GUN CLUB MEETING WITH OFFICER AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS THIS MONTH

The rain won last weekend. Hopefully we will have some decent days to shoot some of these clay targets. I don’t know about you but if I don’t get to shoot a couple times a week I feel really deprived.

Just a couple notes… Remember this time of year all of our scheduling is Weather Permitting. And another small item I noticed a few years ago. As the weather got colder and I wore more clothes my scores fell off. I finally decided that this may have been due to gun fit. As you build up clothing you tend to make your gun longer which puts your head farther back on the stock. I used to have a morgan pad on my trap gun and had it marked for summer and winter adjustments. I say this just to say don’t get discouraged if your scores drop a little in the winter, most of ours do.
