We will have seven matches this year, April 15; May 13; June 10; July 5; August 12; September 9, and October 14, all 2008.
We meet on the second Tuesday (except April) of the month at 9:00AM on the lower Cherokee Rifle and Pistol range. Bring your favorite 22LR Rifle, old or new, any sights, and your lunch, drinks and snacks and make a day of it with our members and shooting friends. Typical length of match is through noon.
All of our shooting requires small bore 22 LR Rifle only, any sights allowed. The course of fire for the 40 round match is 10 rounds at 40 yds, 50 yds, 75 yds, and 100 yds on the lower range. 22 short, long, or long rifle only, any rifle and any sight is OK. All firing is offhand with no slings or shooting coats.
High gun for the year would be the competitor with the 5 highest scores from the 7 matches.
